Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Lowfire and purchases made through https://www.lowfireliving.com. Effective June 15, 2026.

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Selcovia Ltd., trading as Lowfire ("we", "us", or "our"). They apply when you visit https://www.lowfireliving.com, create an account, place an order, or otherwise use our website and services.

By using the website, you confirm that you can enter into this agreement and accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the website. Our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy also apply where relevant.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least the age of legal majority in your place of residence, or use the website with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You must provide accurate, current information and keep account credentials confidential.

You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend or close an account when reasonably necessary to protect customers, prevent fraud, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

3. Products and information

We try to describe and display products accurately. Natural materials, tea, ceramics, textiles, screens, and photography may produce small variations in color, texture, size, taste, or appearance. Such variations are not necessarily defects.

Product availability, packaging, ingredients, specifications, and prices may change. Website information is general and is not medical, nutritional, or other professional advice. Check product labels and seek appropriate advice if you have allergies, sensitivities, or health concerns.

4. Orders and contract formation

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgement only confirms receipt. A purchase contract is formed when we accept the order, normally by sending an acceptance or dispatch confirmation.

We may reject or cancel an order before acceptance because of stock errors, pricing or description errors, payment failure, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions, legal requirements, or quantity limits. If we cancel after taking payment, we will refund the affected amount to the original payment method.

5. Prices, taxes, and payment

Prices and available currencies are shown at checkout. Taxes, duties, delivery charges, and other charges are displayed or described before purchase where reasonably possible. International customers may be responsible for import duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by their destination.

Payments are processed by providers made available through our commerce platform. You authorize the selected provider to charge the amount shown at checkout. We do not ask you to send complete payment-card details directly to us by email or message.

6. Shipping, title, and risk

Available shipping methods, estimated delivery windows, and charges are presented at checkout and governed by our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates unless applicable law states otherwise.

Responsibility for loss or damage transfers as required by applicable consumer law. Provide a complete delivery address and contact us promptly about missing, damaged, or materially delayed orders.

7. Returns, refunds, and statutory rights

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights, including rights relating to faulty, unsafe, misdescribed, or undelivered goods.

Some products may be excluded from change-of-mind returns where permitted by law, including opened food, personalized goods, or hygiene-sensitive items. Any exclusion will be explained in the Refund Policy or before purchase.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the website unlawfully; interfere with security or operation; introduce malicious code; scrape or access the service by automated means contrary to our instructions; impersonate another person; infringe rights; submit false orders; or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.

You may link to public pages fairly and lawfully, but may not imply sponsorship or approval without written permission.

9. Intellectual property

The website and its text, photography, graphics, product presentation, trademarks, logos, software, and other content are owned by or licensed to Selcovia Ltd. and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to access the website for lawful shopping and personal use. You may not reproduce, sell, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit protected content without permission or a legal exception.

10. Reviews and submitted content

If you submit a review, image, comment, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that it is accurate, lawful, and does not violate another person’s rights. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, adapt, and display that content for operating and promoting the service.

We may moderate or remove submitted content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, irrelevant, or otherwise violates these Terms. This does not require us to monitor all submissions.

11. Third-party services

The website may use or link to third-party services such as payment processors, delivery providers, analytics services, social platforms, or hosted content. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply. We are not responsible for independent third-party websites that we do not control.

12. Availability and disclaimers

We may maintain, update, change, suspend, or withdraw parts of the website. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an "as available" basis.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Any disclaimer applies only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Limitation of liability

We do not limit liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of mandatory consumer guarantees, or any other liability that law does not allow us to limit.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of business, profits, opportunity, goodwill, or data arising from use of the website. For claims connected with a purchase, our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid for the affected order, unless applicable law requires a greater remedy.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Any court or dispute-resolution rights available under mandatory local law remain available to you.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, our services, or business practices. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
